Servants of the Word Gambia

Servants of the Word is a Christian college located in The Gambia, serving the church by training gospel workers for ministry. We focus on discipleship, Bible handling and expository preaching, introducing many different aspects of gospel ministry including evangelism, church planting, children and youth work. Every student joins the Farming God's Way classes and learns efficient and sustainable methods for feeding a family, to encourage and enable rural outreach. In addition, Amor Europe helped SOW to develop a training syllabus for Christian Religious Education teachers, the first batch of student CRE teachers are currently part-way through the course.

Lafiabougou Church Burkina Faso

At Lafiabougou we have a children's club with about 1,000 children. We are doing a great work among the children at Sabaribougou School where there is a pastor working full-time in children's ministry. He is teaching the teachers how to have a significant impact on the children in their classes. In the villages things are also changing with Pastors placing a greater focus on children's ministry rather than simply focussing on the adults.

AFSA India

Ambassador's Fellowship South Asia (AFSA) is a ministry passionate about making disciples who make disciples. We are situated in South Asia. As far as the youths and children are concerned, our theme to reach them this year (2021) has been "Being Able". Paul, in Philippians, says "I can do all things through the one who strengthens me". Our aim is to make a generation of "Able People". The majority of our work is among people of other faiths and many are now training disciples to make disciples.

FBR Myanmar

The Free Burma Rangers (FBR) is a multi-ethnic humanitarian service movement. They bring help, hope and love to people in the war zones of Burma. FBR teams are largely made up of members of the ethnic nationalities to whom the FBR directs its aid efforts. The Good Life Club programme is the component of FBR that focuses on children's needs in the conflict zones of Burma. Each four-to-five-person FBR relief team has one member who is the designated GLC counsellor and whose duty is to focus on children at each site the team visits. The GLC counsellors are given training and supplies for a programme addressing spiritual and physical health as well as providing relief supplies.

Church of Pentecost
The Gambia (Brikama District)

Pastor Edward: Currently I am the district pastor at Brikama in the west coast region, previously I was in Soma for nine years. As a full-time pastor my time is spent serving the community in which our church is planted and I have no other work. (Pastor Edward earns less than $100 a month) We work with children and their families and during the pandemic have helped to feed those we can. God has been very faithful.
