The RIVER

A 4-day retreat centred around that moment when Jesus walked into the river to be baptised.

As Jesus came up from the water, he emerged to the sound of his Father’s voice speaking words of love and affirmation over him, and to the fluttering of the Holy Spirit who descended on him in the form of a dove.

The invitation to come into God's river has been extended to us, where we too can have our own encounter with Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit.

Starting ankle deep, each morning we will venture deeper into God’s river, through a variety of experiences including worship, inspirational talks, group discussions, prayer and personal encounter, until we come into waters to swim in.

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. It flowed down the center of the main street. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

(Revelation 22:1-2)

Bringing healing to the nations

In the afternoons we will turn our focus outwards as we explore the unique gifting God has given each of us and how we can become channels of God’s river, rising up in us and flowing out from us to others - flowing out from us to the nations.

Mission is always best, when it is the natural overspill of what God has done in us. We can't give to others, what we haven't first received ourselves.

You are invited to come and encounter Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit, as you step deeper into God's river. Come for a personal retreat. Come with view to hosting the RIVER back home. Come to unblock and release the river of God in you.
